Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 2007 from Lee University.

I taught for five years at Cohutta Elementary School in Cohutta, GA. I was a Pre-K teacher for two years, a fourth grade teacher for one year and then a kindergarten teacher for two years. I also had the privilege to coach a fourth and fifth grade archery team for two years.

I was born in Hanging Dog, Murphy, North Carolina. When I was five years of age, my parents decided to go on the mission field to Dakha, Bangladesh. Eight years later, my parents moved to India where I attended a private British school until I graduated from High school in 2000. I attended Lee University, where I met my husband, Jonathan and graduated in 2007. I have three children. Emilyn is in fifth grade, Naoah is in second grade, and Melody is in pre-kindergarten at Black Fox Elementary. My husband teaches at Walker Valley High School and togther we have grown to love the community in Cleveland, TN.

My passion for teaching started when my parents started orphanages in Bangladesh, and I was encouraged to help educate the orphans in our home. I believe I am dedicated, resourceful, energetc, and an innovative individual who's goal is to help and love your children like my own. I want to help change marginal grades into great grades, and support colleagues and administration at Black Fox in helping each child's social and intellectual growth by creating a place of mutual respect and open communication. I look forward to a GREAT year!!
